Siding and Cladding
We offer wide range of siding types. From traditional clap board to Shou Sugi Ban burned cedar and thermally modified woods.
Shou Sugi Ban
Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese exterior siding technique that preserves wood by charring it.
Board & Batten
Most commonly done with cedar, mahogany or PVC. Boards are installed vertically with battens over the seams covering gaps between the boards.
Thermally Modified wood
Thermo treated wood goes through a process where heat and steam is used to rearrange the cell structure and reduce moisture related movement. This process also removes wood sugars increasing durability against rot and insects.
Stained
Typically cedar or mahogany. Clap board, T&G or ship lap.
Stained siding has a beautiful, natural appearance. Commonly used in contemporary architecture and often found used on mid century modern homes.
