Burmauer is a hands-on contracting firm based in Ridgefield, CT, led by Krzysztof Bury. We specialize in architect-led residential projects, new construction, additions, and renovations where material quality and execution precision are non-negotiable.

We build new modern homes and architect-designed additions alongside restoration and renovation work. Our project history spans buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and David Henken in the Usonia Historic District, work influenced by Richard Neutra, and historic restoration on properties dating to the early 1820s — including the John Hoytt House in Southport, CT.

Projects are principal-led, Krzysztof is involved at every stage, from preconstruction through final delivery.
